This is what we long for. And it's why we dedicate ourselves every August to a time of intentional and focused prayer, asking God to bring it about.
Our theme this year is Steadfast in Joy. We remember that God is steadfast. He is faithful. Always for us. Always loving. Always kind. And we remember the joy that comes from being steadfast in our response to him - standing firm in prayer, in faith, hope and love.
This August, we invite you to pray in one of three ways.
Prayer and Worship Night

We're starting August prayer month in 2026 with a dedicated time of prayer and worship together. In the auditorium, with pared back worship and plenty of space to pray on our own and together. We'll head wherever God leads us and would love to have you there.
Prayer Walk
9:00 - 10:30am - Saturday August 29th @ Black Hill

The prayer walk is returning this year. Those who have been before know it's a profound time to encounter God and pray for our community. Those who haven't, should try it out! This hike through Black Hill is suitable for most fitness levels. The group will stop at different points in the trek to engage in scripture, prayer and communion as lead by the group leader.

30 Minutes per week for 4 weeks

This year, we're introducing prayer groups. Set aside 30 minutes per week in August to pray. (We suggest groups of 3-6 people.)
- Join a group.
- Decide when you'll pray each week.
- Decide whether you'll pray in person or separately (emailing your prayer requests to each other in advance)
Either let us know who is in your prayer group, or let us know you'd like to join a group, and we'll find one for you.
