At Rostrevor Baptist Church, we are committed to reflecting the love and care of Jesus by providing a safe environment for children, young people, and vulnerable people. We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility and an essential expression of our mission and values. We are dedicated to protecting those in our care from harm and to promoting their wellbeing through safe ministry practices, clear accountability, and a culture of respect, trust, and compassion. This policy outlines our commitment and the measures we take to ensure the safety and dignity of every person who participates in the life of our church.

Rostrevor Baptist Church has joined the National Redress Scheme as a member of Baptist Churches of South Australia and the Northern Territory Inc. The National Redress Scheme provides acknowledgement and support to people who experienced institutional child sexual abuse and was created in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. More information about the participation of Baptist Churches of South Australia and the Northern Territory in the National Redress Scheme is available on the BCSANT website.
