I’m after prayer/support
We're here to help.
If you have a prayer request, want to chat or need support in any way, we'd love to hear from you.
I want to explore (my) faith further
There are many "next steps" on the faith journey: accepting Jesus for the first time, being baptised, joining a Church community, serving, studying and many more. The best way discern what's next? Have a chat! Click the button below to get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.
Introduce Yourself
If you’ve been around RBC for a couple of months, hopefully we’ve already met you. If not, we’d love to!
The church isn’t just a Sunday morning service, it’s a people, a family. We don’t just attend church, we belong to it. Click the button below to introduce yourself, ask any questions about the church or to let us know that you’ve decided to make RBC your church home.
Volunteer
We have several volunteer groups who work together across all areas of the church: worship, maintenance, kids and youth ministry, pastoral care and more. Volunteering isn’t just a way to make use of your God-given gifts within the church, it’s a way to connect with others.
Become a member of RBC
Our vision as a people is to Love God, Love People and see Lives change as we follow King Jesus together.
Will you join us? Consider becoming a member at RBC.
Join a Life Group
Our Life Groups meet together (usually weekly or fortnightly) for care, Scripture and growth. These smaller groups give the context to build deep relationships. An average Life Group session will involve a study, discussion and time of prayer. They're a great place to learn more about the Bible, life and faith and to grow in the way of Jesus.
On Sunday the 16th of November, Rev. Dan Beasy announced to our church that he will complete his time serving RBC as Lead Pastor and in the coming year, begin a new chapter in his ministry as Associate Director of Ministry at Baptist Churches of South Australia and Northern Territory. With a grateful heart for Dan’s faithful leadership, we begin to look ahead with expectancy for what God has next for RBC.
In the first chapter of Nehemiah, when told the wall of Jerusalem is broken down, Nehemiah wept, then fasted and prayed. After taking time to pray, he then took action and approached King Artaxerxes for permission to rebuild the wall. Following that same principle, Elders’ Council invite you all to first pray.
Pastoral Search Phases
Below are the Key Phases and a timeline of the Process we will look to undertake in discerning our next Lead Pastor.
We are hesitant in setting fixed timelines for this process at this point in time. We know God has RBC’s new Lead Pastor in mind, and that God is preparing their heart to serve here. We are trusting in God’s good, pleasing and perfect will and timing to open and close doors. We want to move through this stage of the journey together, as Family always believing that God has more for us!

Further information & Prayer
The appointment of a Lead Pastor is something which will be voted on by all Members of RBC, with the Elders Council leading this process with the support, input and engagement of our whole community.
The appointment of members to the Pastoral Search Committee will also be voted on by Members of RBC. Please take this time to pray for RBC, the Pastoral Search Committee members who God will call. If after you have sought the Lord and you have a name who Council should consider approaching to be on the committee, then please email pastoralsearch@rbc.org.au
Now that we have completed Phase 1 (announcement), we invite you to be in prayer for what God has in store for RBC. God’s will is absolutely vital in all of this. Some things we recommend praying for:
Thanking God for Dan & his leadership at RBC over the last 15 years, 10 as our Lead Pastor, and that God would use him powerfully into the future at the Baptist Movement. Be in prayer for Ellie and Tommy too.
Being Grateful for a healthy community and seasons of change.
Asking God for His wisdom to be on all of us as we engage in this process.
We want to do this process well and with excellence, honouring God, honouring RBC and all the people RBC serves in the wider community.
Whilst Dan has been RBC’s leader, he also leads a team of almost 15+ staff and supporting them is vitally important. We invite you to also prayerfully cover the RBC staff team in this process.
